I was reluctant to try Haggis when I first visited Scotland, then ended up regretting not having the experience and promised myself to try it next time.
After finally trying it, I can say that I am even more angry about not trying earlier. The whole experience really threw my prejudice out of the window.
Adam does the haggis and sauces himself and is a lovely person, eager to share his culture through food.
Couldn't recommend it more!

Amazing haggis and amazing quiche, wasn't a fan of either of them before coming here but this place genuinely made me change my mind!! Service was also great and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and return one day.

Don’t waste your time. Go to a real pub like Canon’s Gait and Mackay on the Mile and the haggis will be 10x

My second visit to this place, again did not disappoint! Amazing service, amazing food. Would recommend going for the recommended option - Haggis with mustard and whisky sauce. And for something lighter, definitely the Quiche.

This place came recommended from a local for good haggis and the environment was lovely. I'd never tried haggis but wanted to. It was delicious and not very expensive with a decent sized portion. I usually hate swede (neeps) but I actually enjoyed that as well!
I'd also highly recommend the coffee here.

First time having haggis, so I can't compare the Hagis Box's offering to anything else, but I can say, it was delicious. Nice employees and cute space. It does close early, though.

Safe place pour les personnes LGBTQ+ qui chercheraient un havre de paix à Edimbourg.
Le haggis vegetarien est un peu salé, la sauce au whisky est excellente (sans elle ce serait un peu sec) et la portion est correcte. Nous avons payé 13 livres environs.
Manger sur place est l'occasion de découvrir l'histoire et le folklore écossais, n'hésitez pas à discuter avec les serveur.ses, qui sont adorables.
Dommage que le lieu ferme si tôt !

My first Haggis ever, and I loved it. I had the classic one with whiskey and mustard sauce. It was absolutely delicious. For drinks we had Tempest hell, as recommended by the server.

Tried haggis for the first time and it was mind blowing. The restaurant is located in prime location and the staffs were very polite and friendly.
Coming to the taste of food haggies tatties and neeps blew my mind. I tried with classic whiskey and mustard sauce.
I highly recommend this place if you want to try the dish for the first time.

Superb place! Delicious haggis in affordable price - whisky sauce is on another level. The staff here is really friendly. I can recommend The Haggis Box to everyone who wants to try Haggis for the first time - notice that they also have vegetarian and vegan version of the haggis😄

Haggis is a must try when you're in Scotland and I definitely recommend trying it at this place. Not your usual restaurant / cafe / pub setting but rather a 'box office'-turned-kitchen inside the Scottish Storytelling Centre.
Cheerful and friendly staff.
We ordered their Haggis Neeps & Tatties with Whiskey & Mustard sauce at a reasonable price which comes in a decent portion size. The dish was brilliant! Each element had its own flavour not being overpowered by others. We enjoyed it a lot.
Highly recommend this place.

I was so scared to try haggis because the description sounded off-putting. I finally mustered up the courage and made a stop at The Haggis Box after reading other Google reviews. I ordered the Haggis over Neeps and Tatties with the Auchentoshan whisky & mustard sauce. Oh my stars, it was SPECTACULAR and made me a haggis convert. Please do give it a try! The Haggis Box makes it a delicious experience!
Also, I want to comment that the staff are all so lovely and kind! The restaurant itself is very bright and clean!
